Monday, March 5, we met with Lynn and Annemie from Belgium. We went for a walk with our six dogs in national park ''de Loonse en Drunense Duinen.'' The group of dogs consisted of the Cardigan Welsh Corgis James (Waggerland Cape Cod), Carwyn (Blåtirans Gordon Godzilla), Hester, the English Cocker Spaniels Nala and Raisah, and longhaired Dachshund Tess. The dogs went along very well and had lots of fun playing in the sand and in the water. James and Carwyn, the two intact males, didn't have any trouble at all with each other, even playing together with one stick. After walking for an hour and a half on this cold Monday we ate something in a nearby restaurant. Then the dogs and owners had been warmed up and we made another walk to finish the day!
Maandag 5 maart 2012 hadden we afgesproken met Lynn en Annemie uit België. We gingen wandelen met onze zes honden in de Drunense Duinen. De groep honden bestond uit de Welsh Corgi Cardigans James (Waggerland Cape Cod), Carwyn (Blåtirans Gordon Godzilla), Hester, de Engelse Cocker Spaniels Nala en Raisah, en langharige teckel Tess. De honden konden het prima vinden onderling en hadden veel plezier met het spelen in het zand en in het water. James en Carwyn, de twee intacte reuen, gingen ook erg goed samen en speelden zelfs samen met dezelfde stok. Nadat we anderhalf uur gewandeld hadden op deze koude maandag zijn we gezellig wat gaan eten in een restaurantje. Daarna waren de honden en baasjes weer opgewarmd en besloten we nog maar een wandeling te maken om de dag af te sluiten!
