A new collar

Made by Loma Poko and coming all the way from Germany ;) Loving it!

James & Fenny

His new German Shepherd friend!

Sun, sand, sea and James!

Yes, it must be clear now that the beach is our favorite place to go to. James thinks so too and he likes nothing better than a good romp at the beach. On our way there, on April 13, we walked through beautiful nature, but James only wanted one thing: to the beach! And then he walks fast! James wants to be busy too; patience isn't his strong point... So, when we're at the beach, he only wants to walk, run, play or swim, but standing there, doing nothing, no, that is not what he wants. When we don't have a ball with us, he finds other things to play with. This time, he found a big stick in the sea. And yes, I know sticks are dangerous, and he isn't allowed to run around with sticks and we never throw one, but when he finds one, he's just so happy to have found it, that he can play with it for a short time in the water only. Always, after swimming, James loves to roll around in the sand and completely covers himself with it. He's just so sticky afterwards; the salt water serves as a good base for the sand to stick to his coat... When we return home, he stays outside for a little bit so the sand can fall off, but only when the weather allows it. Otherwise, he goes inside after a good rub with a towel :)

James, Dolly & Lara

We made a lovely spring walk with the Corgis James and Dolly and their friend Lara, the Whippet cross, on April 11. They get along so well and are so easy together, that's a pleasure to see. Though James and Dolly are both Corgis, the differences between a Cardigan and a Pembroke are not difficult to see when you're with them. Not only they differ in character, but also in how they walk. Nice to see! It was such a nice day for a walk along the river in Arkel; though we make a long walk (almost) every day, it's even better when the weather cooperates. However, it is always healthy, both for us and for James!
