James and I were on vacation in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, at the beach, from Friday, April 29 until Monday, May 9. The weather was great and James was able to stay in the yard the whole day long. First thing in the morning was a walk along the beach and often you meet the same dogs. They also walked there around 7.30 AM, like Lucky the English Cocker Spaniel and a Jack Russell cross. It was also great to hang out on the beach in the afternoon because of the summer temperatures rising to more than 80 degrees in the weekend! The Netherlands was the hottest country throughout Europe... James absolutely loves to retrieve his toy out of the sea, especially now the water temperature is rising too. He can do this a hundred times, and still isn't tired of it then! He also likes to stand in the water and enjoying the water around him, just bathing. Van vrijdag 29 april t/m maandag 9 mei 2011 waren James en ik op vakantie in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, lekker aan het strand! We hebben prachtig weer gehad en James kon daardoor de hele dag buiten spelen. ’s Ochtends eerst een uitgebreide losloopwandeling over het strand, waarbij je vaak dezelfde honden tegenkomt. Zij maakten net als wij al om half 8 een strandwandeling, zoals Lucky de Engelse Cocker Spaniel en een Jack Russell kruising. ’s Middags was het ook heerlijk om op het strand te zitten met het zomerweer van deze week, want in het weekend was het wel 28 graden! Nederland was het warmste land van Europa... James doet niets liever dan iets apporteren uit het water, vooral nu het water wat warmer wordt. Hij kan dat wel honderd keer achter elkaar doen en dan nog heeft hij er geen genoeg van! Daarnaast vindt hij het heerlijk om gewoon wat in het water te staan en wat te poedelen.
