Monday, January 24, James and I met with Samantha and her Labrador Retriever Macho. Two intact males, 19 months and 4 years old, but that is not a problem for our dogs. First, we picked Samantha and Macho up. James was sitting in his nylon bench at the back seat of the car and Macho sat on the ground by the front seat. James noticed Macho, but Macho did not see James. He just noticed that there was another dog in the car when we arrived at ''the Berendonck'' in Wijchen, which was our walking spot for today! The dogs had met before, but that was already an half year ago. They liked each other immediately and ran a lot during our walk! Both dogs listen very well and James tried to pursue Macho to play with him. After we walked for some time we arrived at the beach and the dogs played together with the ball. Macho got it out of the water and James waited for him in shallower water. We had a very good time together and it was great to see that the dogs liked each other too! Maandag 24 januari 2011 gingen James en ik wandelen met Samantha en haar Labrador Retriever Macho. Twee intacte reuen van 19 maanden en 4 jaar, maar dat is geen probleem. Eerst hebben we Samantha en Macho opgehaald bij hen thuis in Nijmegen. James zat op de achterbank in zijn nylon bench en Macho mocht voorin bij de voeten liggen. James zag Macho wel, maar liet niets merken. Macho had geen idee dat er nog een hond in de auto zat, totdat we bij de Berendonck in Wijchen aankwamen! De honden hadden elkaar al weleens eerder gezien, maar dat was alweer een half jaar geleden. Ze vonden elkaar direct leuk en hebben wat afgerend tijdens de wandeling. Allebei luisterden ze erg goed en James probeerde Macho uit te dagen om met hem te spelen. Na een stuk lopen kwamen we bij het strand aan en hebben ze samen met de bal gespeeld. Macho haalde hem uit het water en James wachtte hem op! Het was een erg leuke wandeling en het was ontzettend fijn dat de honden onderling het ook zo goed konden vinden!
