Truly Welsh puppies!
Time flies! The puppies are already 8 weeks old and will leave for their new homes in 2 weeks time. Six of them will stay in Russia, one will go to Sweden and 2 are still available. The litter consists of 7 brindles and 2 brindle pointed tricolor puppies and there are no fluffs in this litter. These pictures were made when they were 7 weeks old, already real models! I love them!

De tijd vliegt! De pups zijn inmiddels 8 weken en vertrekken over 2 weken naar hun nieuwe baasjes. Er blijven er 6 in Rusland, 1 gaat er naar Zweden en 2 zijn er nog beschikbaar. Uiteindelijk zijn het 7 brindles en 2 brindle pointed tricolors geworden en er zitten geen fluffs (langhaartjes) in het nest. Deze foto's zijn gemaakt toen de pups 7 weken waren, al echte fotomodellen! Ik vind ze prachtig!

Who's there?
James is a very alert dog. He notices everything that is going on around him and never misses anything. As soon as he hears the bell of the gate, he runs to the kitchen and jumps against the door because he wants to see who is coming into our garden! He never barks unless something is wrong, but just watches through the window and is happy when someone comes along for a visit. Such a watchdog!
James is een erg alerte hond. Hij merkt alles wat er aan de gang is en mist nooit iets. Zodra hij de bel van de tuinpoort hoort, rent hij naar de keuken en springt tegen de deur op, omdat hij wil zien wie er onze tuin binnenkomt! Hij blaft nooit tenzij er iets mis is, maar kijkt gewoon door het raam en is blij wanneer er iemand langskomt. Een echte waakhond!
Two friends
James and Rainbow (Rainbow uut de Slikhoek) are really good friends. Whenever they see each other, they play. As you can see in the movie, the two Corgis love to chase each other through the living room, but they can also play quietly in one place. James likes a visit from a girl ;) After all the playing, they need to catch their breath, but they rest next to each other. Very sweet! After a couple of minutes, the whole thing starts again... The heating wasn't working in Rain's house, so she could stay the afternoon with us. It seems to me that the dogs liked this solution!

James en Rainbow (Rainbow uut de Slikhoek) zijn heel goede vriendjes. Altijd als ze elkaar zien moet er gespeeld worden. Zoals je kunt zien in het filmpje vinden de twee Corgi's het erg leuk om elkaar achterna te zitten door de woonkamer, maar ze kunnen ook heel lief en zacht op één plekje spelen. James vindt het wel gezellig als er een meisje op visite is ;) Na al dat spelen moet en gerust worden, maar dan nog blijven ze gezellig bij elkaar in de buurt. Erg lief! Na een paar minuten begint alles weer van voor af aan... De verwarming deed het niet in Rains huis, dus mocht ze de middag bij ons doorbrengen. Het lijkt mij dat de honden dat helemaal geen slechte oplossing vonden!

James likes to sleep at dark spots. He prefers places like behind the sofa, between the chair and the closet and behind your back when he's sitting next to you. Always looking for a place where he can sleep without any disturbance... However, this time he found a new spot! Under the dresser... Always something to laugh about with a Corgi!
James vindt het heerlijk om op donkere plekken te slapen. Hij prefereert plaatsen zoals achter de bank, tussen de stoel en de kast en achter je rug als hij naast je zit. Altijd op zoek naar een plekje waar hij ongestoord kan slapen... Deze keer vond hij echter een nieuwe plek! Onder het dressoir... Altijd iets om om te lachen met een Corgi!
James & Rainbow in Dorst
Sunday, January 6, Marjolijn and I took our dogs to the forest in Dorst. James and Rainbow are good friends and love to play together. They are very good Corgis in the car; sitting together in the back of the car, but you never hear or see them. But when we arrive... They can't wait to get out of the car to start the walk! Even though it was Sunday, it was very quiet today. We only met a few dogs and a horse, but that's no problem for our Corgis. We also saw some deer, very beautiful! The dogs didn't see them, but they did smell them when we arrived at the path they had just crossed. James and Rainbow enjoyed being in the outdoors thoroughly! Afterwards, we had lunch at a nice restaurant and the dogs were also welcome. They behaved very well, as always, just lying under our table, waiting for us...
Zondag 6 januari 2013 namen Marjolijn en ik onze honden mee naar boswachterij Dorst. James en Rainbow zijn goede vriendjes en vinden het heerlijk om samen te spelen. Ze zijn altijd heel erg braaf in de auto; samen zitten ze achterin en dan horen of zien we ze niet. Maar als we aankomen... Ze kunnen nooit wachten om uit de auto te mogen om te beginnen met de wandeling! Ook al was het zondag, het was erg rustig vandaag. We kwamen maar een paar honden tegen en een paard, maar dat is geen probleem voor onze Corgi's. We zagen ook enkele reeën in de verte, erg mooi! De honden zagen ze niet, maar ze roken ze wel toen we aankwamen bij het pad dat ze net hadden overgestoken. James en Rainbow hebben weer erg genoten van het in de buitenlucht zijn! Na onze wandeling hebben we nog poffertjes gegeten in een pannenkoekenrestaurant en natuurlijk waren de honden ook welkom. Ze gedroegen zich prima, zoals altijd, liggend onder de tafel, wachtend op ons...
